Gymnocalycium leeanum

It is a small spherical cactus, depressed at the apex, which over time tends to cluster at the base. The body, of an intense bluish-green color and a shiny appearance, has multiple protuberances. Large, oval, downy and creamy-colored yellow areoles grow from the ribs, that are not very marked. Its spines, on the other hand, are thin, slightly twisted and have a yellowish color. At the apex it generates large funnel-shaped flowers, with multilayered petals, of a color, that can vary from pale yellow to lime yellow.
