Gymnocalycium erinaceum

A small cactus of a globular shape, has a solitary habit. Its stem, which varies in color from light green to olive green, has tubercles along its ribs with downy areoles, from which short and thin, slightly curved spines emerge, which are dark brown at the base and white-gray at the apex. In spring, it blooms with funnel-shaped flowers of a white color.
