Grusonia clavata

Wild-looking cactaceae, formed by various club-shaped segments growing up to a maximum of 15 cm of height, whilst they tend to spread horizontally. Each segment has big woolly and roundish areoles with candid white colour. From them emerge: thin radial yellow thorns and central thorns more whitish and robust. As the plant grows, the spines become stronger and flatten looking like a sword. In spring, large flowers of a bright yellow color bloom among the thorns giving your gardens an immediate sense of joy!
