Graptoveria 'Thornwood star'

This is a wonderful hybrid made by Max Holmes, who named it after the star shape of the rosette and the name of his nursery, in which he generated it for the first time crossing Graptopetalum filiferum and Echeveria cuspidata v. zaragoza. The solitary rosette is compact and robust, reaching a maximum diameter of about 10 cm with its rather thin and curved leaves upwards. The epidermis is of a pale green colour, which fades almost towards white along the margins; in the middle of the delicacy of these tones, the small red tip stands out strongly at the apex of the foliage. In spring, the charm of Graptoveria 'Thornwood star' is accentuated by pretty tubular flowers with shades from pink to light yellow.
