Graptoveria 'Helios'

This pleasant succulent is not spontaneously present in nature, but is born in a nursery from the union between Graptopetalum paraguayense with a species of Echeveria today unidentified, to obtain an exemplar that starts from the characteristics of both parents and then gives life to a whole new harmony. It has the typical quite ample rosette disposition and with sometimes remarkable dimensions, which, growing, often assumes a leaning course. Its leaves are flat on the upper and convex on the lower one, end with a small tip and assume the most varied shades from pale green to glaucous bluish, up to pleasing pinkish-violaceous tonalities if abundantly exposed to sunlight. Highly appreciated also for its renowned resistance to rather low temperatures, 'G. Heliosa' will liven up your gardens with pleasant golden yellow flowers shaded towards the orange (hence the name of the species referring to the sun, in relation to these colors).
