Description:
G. ‘Darley sunshine' is a hybrid between two species : Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum pachyphyllum. This beautiful succulent is characterized by fleshy, lanceolate and long leaves, arranged in rosette shape. Its light green leaves, due to prolonged exposure to the sun, or to a dry cold, tend to get a violet hue. The flowering period extends from late spring to early winter, during which we could admire beautiful yellow star-shaped flowers.

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sun rays, especially during the hottest hours of the day, as long as they might burn the leaves.
It prefers rather mild temperatures, however it still survives even at temperatures close to freezing if the soil is dry.
Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce watering to once every two months in autumn, and to suspend it completely in winter.
The best soil is a well draining one, so to avoid rotting, for example a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
