Graptopetalum macdougallii

It is a beautiful succulent plant, that is native to the mountains west of Tehuantepec in Mexico. Compact rosettes are formed on numerous long stems, consisting of elongated and lanceolate leaves, with a tip at the end. The foliage is of a glaucous green color, covered with a whitish pruina, which gives the plant an opaque appearance. With exposure to the sun or in dry cold conditions, it can take on pink or purple hues, which make the plant even more fascinating.
