Graptopetalum bellum f.variegated

The name of this plant comes from the Latin term "Bellus", which means "beautiful", in fact the synonym is Tacitus Bellus. It grows into an attractive rosette shape. G. bellum is of low and slow growth, tends to accestire with the passage of time and can reach even 10 cm in diameter. Its fleshy triangular-shaped leaves are greyish-green with lighter edges, but with prolonged exposure to the sun take on shades of pink to purple. The variegated shape of this succulent has clearer areas at the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent; these areas are never the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar is absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this extremely sought after by collectors! In late spring - early summer you can admire its flashy star-shaped flowers that are fuchsia with lighter central streaks. G. bellum is a perfect gift that will delight the recipient for a long time. Synonyms: Tacito Bellus, Tacitus Bellus.
