Gasteria verrucosa

It is a small perennial succulent plant, that has a rosette body. It is composed of long, flat leaves, arranged in a fan shape, which typically grow in pairs of two. Its dark green leaves are rigid and fleshy, which have, on the whole surface, numerous whitish tubercles, that give it rough texture, granting it a high ornamental value. Its flowering takes place in spring, at the apex of a long stem, where small cylindrical flowers of a white, red or pink color, bloom.
