Frailea pygmaea subs. aureispina

Found and named for the first time by the researcher Friederic Ritter in 1970. It is a small, globose cactaceae of an intense green color, which is depressed at the apex. From its numerous downy areoles of a reddish yellow color, dense yellow-orange spines emerge. Its funnel-shaped inflorescences, of yellow color, bloom around the apex.
