Frailea curvispina f. crested

The crested shape of this peculiar cactus presents the typical fan arrangement that makes each exemplar absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason so much appreciated by collectors! In its normal form it is a miniature cactus, whose stem assumes a cylindrical shape, maintaining extremely small dimensions. Generally, this plant tends to tuft, producing more close stems like cushions with multiple heads, in which the light green of the bodies contrasts pleasantly with the golden of the thick short and thin thorns. The spines take on a soft and slightly curved appearance, a characteristic that gives the name to the species itself.
