It is a large succulent with a caudiciform base, that grows up to 60 cm in diameter. From its caudex branches grow, from which large green leaves sprout. The name "multiflora" comes from the Latin words "multus" - "many" and "flora" - "flower", which makes reference to the many yellow-green flowers that bloom in summer.
