It is a succulent with a shrub character, that in nature becomes a real tree, up to 15 meters in height! The stem is woody, but has low density, therefore, in adult plants, it is used to obtain soft wood, while the bark is used to create ropes. It has small, hairless, shiny and elongated leaves of a beautiful intense green color. Like most species, belonging to the Ficus genus, this one also produces edible fruit, while the sticky substances extracted from its roots are used to trap game animals.
