Ferocactus viridescens

It is a solitary, globose, dark green cactus with multiple protuberances, on which large round downy white areoles sprout. It is equipped with dense robust reddish-yellow spines, which tend to enclose the body. Its funnel-shaped, greenish-yellow inflorescences are serrated at the edges, which bloom on the apical part of the plant.
