Ferocactus schwarzii f. variegated

The variegated shape of this cactus presents yellowish shades in the exact points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll; such stains and streaks will never be identical in two or more different plants thus making each specimen unique and much sought after by collectors around the world. In its normal form, this cactus has a bright, light green, globose stem, with numerous conical protuberances on which round and fluffy yellowish areolas sprout. Its rather long thick thorns are bright yellow.
