Ferocactus Santa-Maria

Cactus with a globose shape that is usually solitary. It has a lively green stem, equipped with protruding tubercles and woolly whitish areoles. Thin radial spines in the shape of white or yellow bristles emerge from them. The central spines are more robust, long, brown-reddish and hooked. The period of flowering is August-September, in which we can observe magnificent flowers with yellow tones, with a centered, vertical red line on each petal and that emanate a very good perfume.
