Ferocactus pilosus var. albispinus

It is a cactus with a particular and easily recognizable appearance, consisting of a globular shape and strongly furrowed and rather close ribs. Its bright green color is interrupted by white areoles, from which long and robust white thorns, typical of this variety, emerge. The overall appearance is enriched by a vitreous white down that comes from the areolas and, as the name suggests, is a peculiarity of this species that makes it distinguishable from the others and much appreciated for its uniqueness!
