Ferocactus macrodiscus f. variegated

It is a globular cactus, generally solitary, depressed at the apex. The bluish-green body has well furrowed ribs, on which large round white areoles can be seen. On its stem it has yellow variegations, that make it unique in its kind. Its sturdy and flattened spines are curved inwards, of a reddish-yellow color. Its multi-layered funnel-shaped flowers, of a pink color with magenta veins, bloom on the apical part of the plant.
