Ferocactus macrodiscus f. monstrous

The monstrous shape of this succulent presents geometric anomalies, for example, sometimes asymmetrical protuberances or absence of thorns, different for each individual exemplar, so much to make each of them absolutely unique and for this extremely sought after by collectors. It is a globose cactus, generally solitary and depressed at the apex. The body, of bluish-green color, has well furrowed and spaced ribs, on which come out large round white areolas. Its robust and flattened spines are curved towards the body of the plant and take on yellow-reddish colors. On the apical part of the plant blossom funnel-shaped flowers on the shades of pink enriched with magenta veins.
