Ferocactus macrodiscus

It is a globular cactus, generally solitary, depressed at the apex. The bluish-green body has well furrowed ribs with large round white areoles. Its sturdy and flattened, reddish-yellow spines are curved inwards. Its multi-layered funnel-shaped flowers, of a pink color with magenta veins, bloom on the apical part of the plant.
