Ferocactus hybrid

The Ferocactus hybrid is a species of Ferocactus obtained in a nursery from the cross of two different, often unknown, Ferocactus species. It inherits the general characteristics of shape and appearance from both parents. The spines emerge from downy areoles and are radial and central. The radial spines, arranged in a radial pattern, are more numerous than the central spines, which are longer and, in most cases, also hooked. This plant requires no special care; water only when the soil is completely dry.
