Ferocactus glaucescens f. crested

The crested shape of this cactus presents the typical compact fan arrangement, which makes each exemplar absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason so much appreciated by collectors. In its normal form it is a medium-sized cactus with a solitary shape and a barrel shape. Its stem, of the characteristic greyish blue color, has well marked ribs framed by white woolly areoles, from which come out yellow spines, robust, straight or slightly curved. It is a very loved exemplar for its shapes and its soft and elegant colors, as well as for its perfect cultivation even for novice collectors!
