Ferocactus echidne f. crestata

The crested shape of this cactus has the typical compact and fleshy fan pattern, never the same from one specimen to another and which therefore makes each plant truly unique and, for this reason, highly sought after by collectors. In its normal form Ferocactus echidne has a globular light green body, with asymmetrical longitudinal ribs and white areoles from which long, thin and straight yellow thorns emerge.
