Euphorbia tubiglans

The name of this species comes from the latin and literally means "glands shaped like a tube", in reference to the shape of its nectariferous glands. It is a beautiful succulent, generated by an underground fleshy caudex reaching even 8 cm of diameter. It usually starts with one stem which tends to branch at the base. Each stem is formed by symmetrical longitudinal ribs, slightly tuberculated. It does not exceed the 10 cm of height, keeping about 2 cm slender stems and showing a wonderful emerald green, in the middle of which, at the apex, will stand out in spring the small and graceful reddish flowers.
