Euphorbia serendipita

Extremely rare succulent, whose name refers to the random event during which this exemplar was found for the first time among the rocky slopes of Kenya. It is a pleasant plant characterized by slender stems and equipped with arm branches, which make the mature specimens similar to peculiar candelabra. The stem consists of four strongly angled ribs, highlighted even more by dark longitudinal lines, almost black, that join the areoles along the edges. The black lines, equipped with robust dark spines tending to become greyish with the growth of the plant, contrast pleasantly with the light green tone that the epidermis assumes between one rib and the other, for a final effect meticulously rich in details and, for this, definitely interesting!
