Euphorbia polygona

It is a cylindrical succulent that grows up to 1.5 m in height and about 10 cm in diameter. It has sturdy and fleshy stems of a greyish-green color with numerous narrow ribs, hence the name of the species. Spine-like protuberances can be seen along the ribs. The dorsal spines are blackish, of variable length, scattered irregularly. During the flowering season it produces dark purple inflorescences. It is a plant easy to grow, resists drought well and does not require any special care.
