Euphorbia platyrrhiza

Pleasant succulent particularly appreciated for its caudiciform character that makes it extremely resistant and gracefully ornamental at the same time. It has a globose caudex, often asymmetric, characterized by woody and rough bark, able to reach in nature more than 30 cm in diameter and therefore constitute a very important water reserve for the plant. From the caudex depart numerous stems that tend to branch abundantly, especially near the base, and to enrich with small obovate leaves with well evident veins. It is a little known and rather rare exemplar, perfect to give an extra gear to the collection of more experienced fans!
