It is a very branched shrub plant, that over time forms a low and dense bush. Its grayish-brown cylindrical stem is entirely covered with straight, thin and gray thorns. At the apex of the branches, green obovate leaves appear, that can fall off during dry seasons. It blooms with beautiful small ovate flowers of a creamy yellow color; generally it blooms all year round, but it shows its best in dry and sunny weather.
