It is a small succulent shrub with a solitary habit, occasionally branched, which has the particular characteristic of being semi-deciduous: under optimal climatic conditions it keeps its leaves throughout the year, while in colder winters it loses all or part of its foliage, while remaining alife. The pentagonal branches have small white scars, caused by the fall of the leaves, which stand out on the green of the stem. At the apex of the stems, glossy green leaves appear, which are fleshy and elongated, with white central veins. Flowering occurs in summer on long stems, blooming with small pale pink flowers.
