The variegated shape of this exemplar has yellowish spots in the exact points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll; thanks to its fan-shaped crest, this plant is much sought after by collectors around the world. In the normal form E. leucodendron is a branched succulent shrub that, over time, can reach a height of about 6 meters. It has upright stems of light green color with brown spots due to the fall of its small green leaves. During the spring season it generates small yellow flowers on the sides of the stems.
