Its name was chosen by Gerhard Marx who first discovered the plant in South Africa. It is a succulent with a typical "jellyfish head" shape, that is, consisting of a spherical stem with short fleshy arms arranged in a radial pattern. It has an intense green color, which can take on purple hues when exposed to the sun; each branch is enriched by small and rather pronounced tubercles, from which sparse leaves and tiny greenish-yellow flowers emerge in spring. It is an extremely rare plant, highly sought after by connoisseurs from all over the world for its unique appearance, capable of giving a timeless exotic charm to your rooms!
