Euphorbia fruticosa f. variegated

The variegated shape of this succulent has yellowish-white streaks in the exact points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll. These spots will never be identical in different plants, thus making each plant unique. In its normal form, E. fruticosa is a succulent shrub that with time tends to lignify at the base. Its robust blue-green or yellowish green stems tend to assume a columnar posture. Its stems are well defined by vertical ribs, surrounded by thick and robust bifurcated thorns of greyish colour. The flowering period is from autumn to spring and generates small yellow flowers that frame its numerous ribs.
