Beautiful succulent first found in the Arabian Peninsula, formed by a globular stem, which tends with growth to become slightly cylindrical while maintaining relatively reduced dimensions; this specimen develops by tiling abundantly, until obtaining a wonderful pillow with multiple heads. Each stem is equipped with deep sparse and angular ribs, sometimes slightly spiral, along the crest of which there are white and narrow areolas that create a sort of continuous longitudinal line, strongly characteristic and in pleasant contrast with the brilliant emerald green of the stem. Only rarely do pairs of short and rigid grayish spines appear along the ribs.
