Description:

Absolutely unique exemplar, in which are enclosed together two of the characteristics that distinguish the rarity of a plant: it takes a crested shape, therefore it is characterized by a compact fan arrangement and sinusoidal, not perfectly geometric, to which is added a wonderful variegation, namely the presence of clearer areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent. The combination of the two peculiarities makes this exemplar really rare and, for this reason, extremely coveted by collectors. In its normal form it is a succulent plant with slow growth, consisting of central caudiciform stem from which sprout numerous serpentiform branches, cylindrical and tapered, similar to the hair of Medusa (from which derives the nickname "Medusa Plant"). Its stems are entirely covered by small protuberances with white dots caused by the fall of the leaves, which stand out on the intense green of the stem.

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 8 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce watering to once every two months in autumn, and to suspend it completely in winter.

The perfect soil is a highly draining and porous one, for example a mixture of peat and pumice so that it does not stagnate the water.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
