This succulent takes its name Euphorbia caput- medusae by its particular form. In fact, it has a rosette of narrow green stems shaped like tentacles that originate from a small central caudex and recall the head of Medusa, the mythological creature with the head covered with snakes. During its flowering period, which goes from spring to summer, it generates at the apex of each tentacle, small but splendid white flowers with curved leaves.
