Euphorbia bupleurifolia

Succulent plant that over time develops a caudex in the shape of a pine cone, partially underground, which reaches a maximum of 7 cm in diameter and 20cm in height. The stem is covered with olive green or dark brown spirally arranged tubercles. The leaves are green, with an elliptical and elongated shape. In the period of vegetative rest this plant drops the leaves to reduce the loss of water, and then put them back in the awakening period. Very rare plant and appreciated by collectors all over the world for its particular pineapple shape.
