E. bosseri is a particular succulent whose name was dedicated to the botanist Jean Marie Bosser who studied the flora of Madagascar and Mauritius. The stems of this plant are brown, with spots and streaks of darker shades giving it an almost lignified appearance. In its natural habitat, this succulent plant prefers areas of penumbra; it is easy to cultivate, needing no frequent watering. The flowering period is spring.
