Euphorbia aphylla

It is a highly branched succulent shrub that can grow up to 50 cm in height. It has numerous erect and hairless stems, of a cylindrical shape, about 0.5 cm in diameter, of a bluish-green color, with no leaves, hence the name of the species (from the words Greek "aphylla" - "without" and "phyll" - "leaf"). During the flowering period, it blooms with tiny bright yellow flowers, gathered in small clusters. The Euphorbia aphylla is a plant very easy to grow, ideal for adorning rock gardens.
