Euphorbia abdelkuri

It is also called "Milk-bush", due to the milky liquid inside the plant, which, unlike other Euphorbias, is of a yellow color and is also quite poisonous. It is a very rare succulent plant with very slow growth, and therefore is highly appreciated by green collectors from all over the world. In nature it grows in the semi-desert of Abd al Kuri, and from this derives its name E. abdelkuri. The cylindrical stem resembles a candle, thanks also to its thick, waxy and greyish epidermis. This thornless succulent plant has 6 ribs with small dots-like tubercles. This flowering specimen has never been seen in cultivation, moreover, it is also very difficult to grow.
