Eriosyce vallenarensis

It is a globose and solitary cactacea of an opaque green color, it has well-marked irregular ribs, equipped with slightly protruding tubercles and narrow and elongated areoles, from which robust spines of a peculiar gray-blackish color emerge, which makes them well recognizable; they are slightly curved towards the stem and, especially at the apex, tending upwards. During the flowering period, it blooms with beautiful, rather large silky funnel-shaped flowers, ranging in color from white to pink or orange.
