The name of the species refers to the Bolivian city where the first exemplar was found. It is a cactus with a spherical shape, which does not exceed the 5 cm of diameter but tends to light up very quickly, giving rise to wonderful spiny cushions with multiple heads. Equipped with little marked longitudinal ribs, each stem of a beautiful intense green contrasts pleasantly with the white roundish areoles. From these ones emerge short thin radial spines arranged radially and also the central spines that are much more robust and darker, even 3 cm long! The overall aspect that is highlighted, is that of a highly thorny set, able to give your gardens a spectacular wild charm!
