Echinopsis subdenudata f. crested

It is a cactus of a particular fan shape, that makes it unique in its kind and highly appreciated by green collectors from all over the world. Its stem, of an opaque light green color, has multiple well furrowed ribs, equipped with sparse whitish, slightly downy areoles. The spines are very short, of a brownish-cream color, which are often absent. The flowering period is in spring-summer, when, on long stems, generated by the areoles, its enormous nocturnal flowers, of a more or less intense pink color, bloom.
