Art. 47846
It is a small cactaceae plant with a solitary habit, which can occasionally cluster at the base. Its stem, light green, tending to olive green, concave at the apex, has multiple slender, well furrowed ribs of a very wavy shape, equipped with white downy areoles. The radial spines are thin, of a greyish color, while the central ones are brownish, much longer and stiffer, of a flat shape, which tend to grow upwards. Flowering occurs in summer at the apex of the plant, generating small, funnel-shaped flowers of a pale pink color with central purple streaks.
