Echinofossulocactus dichroacanthus

It is a cactacea plant with a solitary habit and of a columnar shape. Its dark green stem, concave at the apex, has multiple slender ribs, well furrowed and very wavy in shape, equipped with downy white areoles. The radial spines are generally 4-6 in number and are of a white or brownish color, while the 2-3 central spines are much longer and stiffer, of a flat shape, tending upwards, of a purplish color with a dark tip. Flowering occurs at the apex of the plant, generating small, pale pink funnel-shaped flowers with a purple central line.
