Description:
The variegated form is extremely sought after by collectors for its uniqueness, since the yellow areas present in the exact points where chlorophyll is missing make each piece absolutely unrepeatable. It is a solitary cactus that, as it grows, clusters forming large groups. Its green, erect stem has tubercles from which slightly woolly areoles protrude. Initially yellow thorns emerge from them, which then tend to fade into black. In spring / summer, beautiful red-orange funnel-shaped flowers bloom.
