Echinocereus triglochidiatus

A solitary cactus which, with growth, clusters, forming large groups. Its green, erect stem has tubercles, from which slightly downy areoles protrude. Initially yellow spines sprout from them, which over time fade into black. In spring/summer, beautiful red-orange funnel-shaped flowers bloom.
