Art. 51189
This cactus was found for the first time in 1980 on the Zacatecas plateau (Mexico). It has a solitary habit, which can also branch at the base with growth. The cylindrical stem, of a dark green color, has thin ribs, defined by its round downy areoles, from which its characteristic combed white-yellowish spines emerge. During spring, large funnel-shaped flowers bloom, which are of a pink-magenta color with jagged petals.
