Echinocereus milleri

Very particular cactaceae, extremely appreciated for the chromatic contrast of its thorns. It has a globose stem, of dark green color, which tends to become cylindrical with the growth, equipped with longitudinal ribs deeply grooved. From large yellowish and roundish areolas come out numerous thin and needle-like radial spines, which are arranged radially with their cream color tonality, at times shaded of red-violaceous; the central spines, on the contrary, are usually one or two, longer and outward facing, dark red in color, deeply showy and in pleasant contrast with the other soft colors, for an overall appearance that will certainly not go unnoticed!
