Echinocereus maritimus f.variegated

The variegated shape of this cactus presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each specimen will be absolutely unique! It is a cylindrical cactus with a generally tufted shape. The stem, light green, has tubercles equipped with large round areoles, from which emerge its characteristic yellow spines: the radial ones are straight, star-shaped and rather long, the central ones are robust. From spring to autumn, funnel-shaped, large, bright yellow flowers bloom.
