Echinocereus ferreirianus

This cactus exemplar grows in the rocky mountains of California. It has a green stem equipped with vertical ribs, with raised tubercles above which are white and fluffy areoles. Its thorns come out from the areoles and are mainly white in color, with the passage of time they become reddish. The central spines are longer and stronger than the radial ones.
